In the 15th minute Maadan Lăcătuș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Akinfeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mai Li Cheng couldn't finish the play. After 44 minutes Voskresensk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maadan Lăcătuș who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Maadan Lăcătuș almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev did a great save. After a rather tough play, True storY's Veniamin Buksmann got a free kick in the 45th minute. Pahom Nikiforov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Ivanchuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Emil Kostadinov made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Ivanchuk in the 53rd minute of play forced True storY's goalkeeper Pahom Nikiforov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gleb Sorokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev got control of the ball when Mai Li Cheng tried to sneak it across the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Voskresensk FC booed when True storY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veniamin Lobanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maksim Ilyuhin's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Pahom Nikiforov on his right side and into the goal. 94 minutes into the game it was 4-1.
