Eduard Hayaletdinov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eduard Hayaletdinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Rossi in the 6th minute of play. If Paolo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivanovo HC's Eduard Hayaletdinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Rossi in the 7th minute of play. Paolo Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Arsenal F.C.'s Aris Potamiotis got a free kick in the 11th minute. Paolo Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Hayaletdinov having to make a save. Eduard Hayaletdinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Rossi in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Ivanovo HC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vadim Belyaev hit a great ball. Paolo Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduard Hayaletdinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Hayaletdinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Fomin in the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emmanuil Kabanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrey Dvoryankin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Eduard Hayaletdinov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 45th minute of play forced Ivanovo HC's goalkeeper Eduard Hayaletdinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanuil Kabanov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Paolo Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ivanovo HC's Eduard Hayaletdinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal F.C.'s Paolo Rossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduard Hayaletdinov. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. In the 68th minute, Arsenal F.C.'s Lazo Ziya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eduard Hayaletdinov. Eduard Hayaletdinov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 73rd minute of the game Vadim Belyaev made a throw-in which Feoktist Artyuhin played forward. When Arsenal F.C.'s Lazo Ziya in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lazo Ziya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Hayaletdinov having to make a save. Eduard Hayaletdinov made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lazo Ziya sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Fomin in the 85th minute of play forced Ivanovo HC's goalkeeper Eduard Hayaletdinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes, Denis Pereturin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ivanovo HC and the Arsenal F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denis Pereturin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lazo Ziya got free with Eduard Hayaletdinov in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 88 minutes, Lazo Ziya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lazo Ziya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivanovo HC's Eduard Hayaletdinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ivanovo HC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ivanovo HC's goalkeeper Eduard Hayaletdinov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Arsenal F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ivanovo HC throughout the match.
