Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ruseni's Constantin Șişman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Boboc in the 3rd minute of play. Olimpiu Stegaru lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 7th minute, one of Ruseni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ruseni. Tiberiu Ispas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Șişman having to interfere. Ruseni's Corneliu Costandache got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Corneliu Costandache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Corneliu Costandache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Cucu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costică Cucu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Costandache in the 20th minute of play. Ruseni's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jesus Transito in the 22nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Jesus Transito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Costică Cucu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th match minute, Ruseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Ştefănucă to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Radu Boboc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Constantin Șişman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiberiu Ispass short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Constantin Șişman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 36 minutes, Corneliu Costandache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruseni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corneliu Costandache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Costel Dumitru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costică Cucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Dominte, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ruseni's Costel Dumitru pulled a muscle in his leg after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mugur Băncilă charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mugur Băncilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruseni's Robert Moarcăș was substituted for Costel Dumitru. Mugur Băncilă kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Robert Moarcăș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Moarcăș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Cucu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corneliu Costandache to strike the kick off in the second half. When Leibesübungen Wolfsburg's Radu Boboc in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Robert Moarcăș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costică Cucu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Moarcăș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiberiu Ispas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Constantin Șişman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leibesübungen Wolfsburg. After some careless play in the Leibesübungen Wolfsburg defense, Robert Moarcăș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costică Cucu. The Leibesübungen Wolfsburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costică Cucu should have stopped the shot. Valentin Cârstea kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Tiberiu Ispas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Constantin Șişman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiberiu Ispas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Șişman having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Ruseni's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Ispas came free, but Constantin Șişman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Tiberiu Ispas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantin Șişman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eric Ştefănucă hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Leibesübungen Wolfsburg were victorious despite being under pressure from Ruseni for much of the match.
