The referee ignored Bucureni FCM's protests and gave Sever Antim a yellow card for diving instead. Octavian Tatulici was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Piriu defense, Sever Antim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavian Tatulici. The Piriu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Tatulici should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Sever Antim made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Tatulici. Piriu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 43rd minute Adam Macri suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Nae Păvăloae fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piriu's protests and gave Nae Păvăloae a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Ţintă in the 45th minute of play forced Piriu's goalkeeper Octavian Tatulici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Piriu got a freekick which was hit by Nae Păvăloae. The Piriu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bucureni FCM were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviu Ţintă was the one to do the kick off. Sever Antim hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ştefan Popan made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Silviu Ţintă immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Silviu Ţintă managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 81st minute, Nae Păvăloae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radu Crăcană was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
