Dinamo1867's Cristian Calboreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Caragea in the 16th minute of play. Dorin Ştiopul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Vasile Staicu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Aron Cristocea. Cristian Calboreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Caragea in the 22nd minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Putreda CSM's Ferdinand Caragea made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Calboreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vasile Staicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorin Ştiopul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Ferdinand Caragea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Calboreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Vermeşan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Dinamo1867's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Ştiopul came free, but Cristian Calboreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Viorel Podgoreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putreda CSM and the Dinamo1867 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Putreda CSM's Viorel Podgoreanu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Gelu Amitroaiei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aron Cristocea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Putreda CSM's Nechifor Săvescu got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dinamo1867's Anton Sârban got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Calboreanu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Dorin Ştiopul sent off a good shot on target. When Dorin Ştiopul came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Putreda CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorin Ştiopul couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dinamo1867's Iordache Slătineanu got a free kick in the 67th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Putreda CSM's Lucian Pricop tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A hard shot 72 in the game by Petre Vermeşan from a close distance when the talented Cristian Calboreanu managed to make a qualified save. Dinamo1867's players were relieved. Dorin Ştiopul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelu Amitroaiei in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Cristocea saved Putreda CSM from getting behind. Dorin Ştiopuls short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Cristian Calboreanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ferdinand Caragea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the game, Vasile Staicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Aron Cristocea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Caragea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Calboreanu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorin Ştiopul in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Calboreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
