Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alexandru Zubaşcu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mihai Sbârcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Calciu in the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Simbasag AFC's zone, Alexandru Zubaşcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viorel Măgureanu came out of the goal and Alexandru Zubaşcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Constantin Buș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puscasu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Buș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viorel Măgureanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 59 played minutes Simbasag AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filip Macovei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Zubaşcu in the 60th minute of play forced Simbasag AFC's goalkeeper Viorel Măgureanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexandru Zubaşcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Stelea hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Codrin Simuţ's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Mihai Sbârcea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Constantin Buș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viorel Măgureanu was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Viorel Măgureanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Buș in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Constantin Buș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simbasag AFC's Viorel Măgureanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viorel Măgureanu came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Puscasu FC's Alexandru Zubaşcu. But to his dismay, Alexandru Zubaşcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alexandru Zubaşcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Măgureanu having to interfere. Mircea Obreja kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Puscasu FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
