Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Costel Şuţu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Adrian Crâșmaru fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chisirid's protests and gave Adrian Crâșmaru a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Crâșmaru hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eduard Crainic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Macovescu in the 61st minute of the match. Eduard Crainic came out of the goal and Liviu Zmărăndescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudiu Donecea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Costel Şuţu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gabriel Moromete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Chisirid's Gabriel Moromete ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Costel Şuţu.
