The audience was convinced that Petru Agudin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Urdeş was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Bara's zone, Codruț Macrea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabin Porumboiu came out of the goal and Codruț Macrea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codruț Macrea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Sabin Porumboiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20th match minute, Corlata AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Buga to maneuver through the defense. Mihai Arghir was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Martin Urdeş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Constantinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Macrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Porumboiu having to interfere. Bara's Sabin Porumboiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bara from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codruț Macrea got free with Sabin Porumboiu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 played minutes Bara got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Ştefulescu. Corlata AC's Codruț Macrea got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabin Porumboiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Arghir in the 50th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihai Arghir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Codruț Macrea notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bara's Sabin Porumboiu. Sabin Porumboiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute Mihai Arghir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Porumboiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petru Agudins short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Martin Urdeş to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 64 minutes, Avram Crușeveanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corlata AC and the Bara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bara booed when Corlata AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Crușeveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Petru Agudin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Victor Constantinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codruț Macrea took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabin Porumboiu. Sabin Porumboiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Corlata AC's zone, Victor Constantinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Urdeş came out of the goal and Victor Constantinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corlata AC were furious when Eric Bejenaru was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Corlata AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bara:s goal. The goalkeeper, Martin Urdeş, was totally fooled by Bara's Adam Unciuleanu, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Victor Constantinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Martin Urdeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petru Agudin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute.
