Liviu Lung did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Milan Weber 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Zorlescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virloveni CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuhea AC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Virloveni CF's Eusebiu Zorlescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. Daniel Covaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Baniciu having to interfere. Gigi Brăescu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigi Brăescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Virloveni CF got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Brăescu. With a little luck, Cuhea AC's Milan Weber got control of the ball when Liviu Lung tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Virloveni CF's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Gheție came free, but Lucrețiu Baniciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cuhea AC's Nae Gurlui got a free kick in the 28th minute. Liviu Lung scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milan Weber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucrețiu Baniciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Gheție in the 34th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Cuhea AC's Leon Zaworski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucrețiu Baniciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Dennis Frommer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Cuhea AC's goalkeeper Milan Weber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Cârnu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Liviu Lung made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Covaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Baniciu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cuhea AC's zone, Liviu Lung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milan Weber came out of the goal and Liviu Lung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Virloveni CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Cârnu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Liviu Lung's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Weber was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Covaci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucrețiu Baniciu. That made the score 3-2 in the 64 minute of play. 3-3 became the score in the 67th minute when Daniel Covaci elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Liviu Lung's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Weber was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Manuel Ghercioiu's late challenge caught a Virloveni CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Ghercioiu helped the player get up and apologised. Cuhea AC:s Milan Weber showed great skill when he stopped Valer Şoimaru:s penalty. After some careless play in the Cuhea AC defense, Valer Şoimaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milan Weber. The Cuhea AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milan Weber should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Virloveni CF's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Zaworski came free, but Lucrețiu Baniciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Virloveni CF booed when Cuhea AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Gurlui didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4-4 became the score in the 88th minute when Daniel Covaci elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Daniel Covaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuhea AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Covaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98thth minute of the game Liviu Lung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuhea AC's Milan Weber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
