The supporters of Los Angeles Galaxy booed when Sucutard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Crașovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nae Păsărin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nae Păsărin came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Los Angeles Galaxy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Păsărin couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cătălin Achim in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Proca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Cătălin Achim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Sucutard's Cătălin Achim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remus Proca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cătălin Achim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Proca having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Achim in the 37th minute of play forced Los Angeles Galaxy's goalkeeper Remus Proca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cătălin Achim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remus Proca was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Los Angeles Galaxy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Cătălin Achim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Cătălin Achim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Remus Proca made a huge save. Vali Purje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remus Proca made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Cătălin Achim sent off a good shot on target. Octavian Olaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Horia Gănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Cătălin Achim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Angeles Galaxy's Remus Proca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Los Angeles Galaxy from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Sucutard left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Angeles Galaxy.
