Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arsenal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Lucrețiu Hațegan scored to the left of an out of position Sorin Sandu, making the score, 1-0. After 6 played minutes Gauriciu got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Cociubei. Lucrețiu Hațegan's late challenge caught a Arsenal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucrețiu Hațegan helped the player get up and apologised. Lucrețiu Hațegan kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Nicu Hrușcă kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gauriciu's Nae Zdraşcu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arsenal. If Lucrețiu Hațegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sorin Sandu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Hațegan in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Sergiu Gheordunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristinel Siadbei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavril Lăceanu's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute Lucrețiu Hațegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Sandu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Sandu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Hațegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Hațegan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Sorin Sandu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicu Hrușcă hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Edgar Cristian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gauriciu's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Cristian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sorin Sandu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goalkeeper Sorin Sandu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Cristian. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Târcă in the 42nd minute of play forced Gauriciu's goalkeeper Cristinel Siadbei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niculae Târcă to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristinel Siadbei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Lăceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Cristian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Sandu having to interfere. Lucrețiu Hațegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lucrețiu Hațegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Călin Borogeanu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nae Zdraşcu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sorin Sandu. Arsenal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucrețiu Hațegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Crișan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes, Gauriciu's Horea Bâlea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sorin Sandu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gauriciu reached it. 74 minutes into the game, Nicu Hrușcă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gauriciu the free kick. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nicu Hrușcă hit a great ball. Sorin Sandu came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Gauriciu's Edgar Cristian. But to his dismay, Edgar Cristian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Gauriciu's Sergiu Ciutacu got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal's goalkeeper Sorin Sandu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Nicu Hrușcă was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Edgar Cristian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Sandu having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal's goalkeeper Sorin Sandu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Gauriciu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
