Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucrețiu Hațegan got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Sucutard booed when Gauriciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Ciutacu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes, Sucutard's Albert Nistor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristinel Siadbei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sucutard reached it. After 14 played minutes Sucutard got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Crașovan. When Edgar Cristian came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Gauriciu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Cristian couldn't finish the play. Sucutard's Anton Nicolescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Hațegan in the 17th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Lucian Cociubei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gauriciu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Edgar Cristian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gauriciu's Cristinel Siadbei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Gauriciu from getting a goal against them. Cristinel Siadbei was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Octavian Olaru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octavian Olaru really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 38 played minutes Sucutard got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Crașovan. Anton Nicolescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Cristian in the 39th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Cristinel Siadbei successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edgar Cristian struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Anton Nicolescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gauriciu. Cristinel Siadbei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Uncheşelu in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Achim made a kick off. Cristinel Siadbei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Olaru in the 52nd minute of the match. With 56 minutes on the clock, Albert Nistor commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sucutard fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Anton Nicolescu went to the wrong direction when Nae Zdraşcu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Octavian Olaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gauriciu getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sergiu Ciutacu hit a great ball. Octavian Olaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cristinel Siadbei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavian Olaru in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristinel Siadbei saved Gauriciu from getting behind. Vali Purje sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristinel Siadbei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gauriciu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Ciprian Potra placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Eric Spiru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cristinel Siadbei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Olaru in the 75th minute of play forced Gauriciu's goalkeeper Cristinel Siadbei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Crașovan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Edgar Cristian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Anton Nicolescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gauriciu's Horea Bâlea shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anton Nicolescu but with some difficulty. Cristinel Siadbei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Olaru in the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelian Uncheşelu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristinel Siadbei saved Gauriciu from getting behind. Octavian Olaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Siadbei having to interfere. If Octavian Olaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vali Purje stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Gauriciu's defenders and the ball went out. Sucutard appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Aurelian Uncheşelu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
