The tension between the Gauriciu and the Los Angeles Galaxy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Angeles Galaxy booed when Gauriciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Cristian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristinel Siadbei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Păsărin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Edgar Cristian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gauriciu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Remus Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Hațegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Los Angeles Galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Cristian came free, but Remus Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandu Maghear's late challenge caught a Gauriciu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandu Maghear helped the player get up and apologised. Sandu Maghear hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Hațegan in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Proca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Horaţiu Zbora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Cristian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Proca having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Hațegan in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Proca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Edgar Cristian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandu Maghear got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Gauriciu booed when Los Angeles Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Maghear didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lucrețiu Hațegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Ştefănescu was the one to do the kick off. Los Angeles Galaxy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Edgar Cristian scored to the left of an out of position Remus Proca, making the score, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergiu Ciutacu during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Gauriciu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Ciutacu to maneuver through the defense. Martin Ştefănescu scored 1-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristinel Siadbei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Cristian got free with Remus Proca in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Cristians short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Remus Proca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Hațegan in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Proca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Cristian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Edgar Cristian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Remus Proca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Cristian got free with Remus Proca in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the game, Nae Păsărin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Angeles Galaxy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gauriciu the free kick. Nae Păsărin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot 78 in the game by Edgar Cristian from a close distance when the talented Remus Proca managed to make a qualified save. Los Angeles Galaxy's players were relieved. 80 minutes into the match, Los Angeles Galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Hațegan came free, but Remus Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Los Angeles Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Dragoș. Gauriciu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
