In the 3rd minute, Sorin Hârtopanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florin Tolea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorin Hârtopanu in the 6th minute. Sorin Hârtopanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Florin Tolea made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Cernovsky's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Fința came free, but Florin Tolea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorin Hârtopanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Florin Tolea made a huge save. Gică Ionaș was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. The referee gave Helloween CF a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adam Stelian, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cernovsky's Florin Tolea. 1-0. Dan Fința recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cernovsky getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Horea Ponta hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Cernovsky's goalkeeper Florin Tolea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sorin Hârtopanu. If Iustin Buga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Cernovsky's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Fința came free, but Florin Tolea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Tolea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Fința, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Cernovsky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Amânaloae to maneuver through the defense. Valeriu Amânaloae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Iacob Mureșan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Valentin Petran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Petran struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Iacob Mureșan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cernovsky. In the 42nd minute, Horea Ponta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Amânaloae in the 45th minute of play forced Helloween CF's goalkeeper Iacob Mureșan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 57th minute, Adam Stelian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Oancea's late challenge caught a Helloween CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Oancea helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Cernovsky got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Oancea. After having played for 68 minutes, Sorin Hârtopanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helloween CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Hârtopanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sorin Hârtopanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Florin Tolea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cernovsky defense, Dan Fința kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florin Tolea. The Cernovsky fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florin Tolea should have stopped the shot. Dan Fința took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florin Tolea. Florin Tolea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Dan Fința had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sorin Hârtopanu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Helloween CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Hârtopanu couldn't finish the play. Horea Ponta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iacob Mureșan made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Horea Ponta sent off a good shot on target. Helloween CF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
