Petrică Uduleanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Stolnicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valeriu Bulcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Arghir in the 13th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Calistrat Tăgorean put in a rough tackle. In the 20th minute, one of CHRISOFI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CHRISOFI. The referee gave Chisirid a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcu Potocianu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CHRISOFI's Valeriu Bulcă. 0-1. After some careless play in the CHRISOFI defense, Vali Arghir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valeriu Bulcă. The CHRISOFI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valeriu Bulcă should have stopped the shot. Petrică Uduleanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Stolnicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. CHRISOFI's Viorel Axinte managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by David Mangra in the 30 minute of the game. Chisirid's Petrică Uduleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Stolnicu in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Liviu Stolnicu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petrică Uduleanu. That made the score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. In the 36th match minute, CHRISOFI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Stolnicu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Stolnicu in the 39th minute of play forced Chisirid's goalkeeper Petrică Uduleanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petrică Uduleanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Stolnicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Mihnea Eftimiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Stolnicu to make the kick off. The supporters of CHRISOFI booed when Chisirid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Bercea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudiu Curuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Viorel Axinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Stolnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Uduleanu having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, CHRISOFI's Călin Dragoș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petrică Uduleanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 68 minutes into the game, Viorel Axinte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CHRISOFI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chisirid the free kick. Viorel Axinte hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Mangra during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, David Mangra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petrică Uduleanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Stolnicu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Petrică Uduleanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Stolnicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Călin Cerghizan took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petrică Uduleanu. Petrică Uduleanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Călin Cerghizan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petrică Uduleanu having to make a save. If Liviu Stolnicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of CHRISOFI booed when Chisirid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Orășan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the CHRISOFI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
