Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Chiru took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Radu Şoimaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodim Ghizdeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nicodim Ghizdeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Cârstea in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Mereteu AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Macaneață to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 13 in the game by Robert Chiru from a close distance when the talented Albert Buta managed to make a qualified save. Fc Barcelona Arad's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the game, Robert Chiru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mereteu AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Barcelona Arad the free kick. The supporters of Fc Barcelona Arad booed when Mereteu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Chiru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mereteu AC's Nicodim Ghizdeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Şoimaru in the 17th minute of play. Nicodim Ghizdeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Cârstea went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nicodim Ghizdeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Cârstea's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mereteu AC's zone, Lucas Cârstea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicodim Ghizdeanu came out of the goal and Lucas Cârstea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radu Şoimaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicodim Ghizdeanu having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Radu Şoimaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicodim Ghizdeanu. Mereteu AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radu Şoimaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Lucas Cârstea took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicodim Ghizdeanu. Nicodim Ghizdeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of Fc Barcelona Arad booed when Mereteu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Vergulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Cârstea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Radu Şoimaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Lucas Cârstea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Ghizdeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Cârstea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Ghizdeanu having to interfere.

Lucas Cârstea struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Nicodim Ghizdeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Barcelona Arad. If Radu Şoimaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicodim Ghizdeanu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Remus Braica sent off a good shot on target. Nicodim Ghizdeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Şoimaru in the 61st minute of the match. Robert Chiru kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Mereteu AC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucas Cârstea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th minute, Cosmin Vergulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Mereteu AC got a freekick which was hit by Petre Macaneață. Robert Chiru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Buta having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Fc Barcelona Arad's Lucas Cârstea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicodim Ghizdeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.
