Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sergiu Aldulescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Feraru got free with Panait Buzatu in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Gropile CSM's Alin Cristoiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Panait Buzatu. Panait Buzatu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The attack was good, but when Sergiu Aldulescu in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ferdinand Cociubei charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Cociubei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferdinand Cociubei kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Gropile CSM's Narcis Tâbârnă broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fierii's Panait Buzatu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Fierii from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Cristoiu in the 23rd minute of play forced Fierii's goalkeeper Panait Buzatu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergiu Aldulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Duldurescu having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Fierii's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Cristoiu came free, but Panait Buzatu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Buzatu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Cristoiu in the 36th minute of play. A hard shot 41 in the game by Codruț Feroiu from a close distance when the talented Panait Buzatu managed to make a qualified save. Fierii's players were relieved. Panait Buzatu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugen Feraru in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Alin Cristoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Panait Buzatu. Alin Cristoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Panait Buzatu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codruț Feroiu in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alin Cristoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Codruț Feroiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panait Buzatu was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Panait Buzatu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Feraru, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergiu Aldulescu in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugurel Duldurescu saved Gropile CSM from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Alin Cristoiu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fierii's Panait Buzatu. Panait Buzatu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panait Buzatu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Feroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panait Buzatu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Feroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodor Tuleiu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodor Tuleiu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Avram Niculescu struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mugurel Duldurescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fierii. Gropile CSM's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sergiu Aldulescu 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Sergiu Aldulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Duldurescu having to interfere. Gropile CSM were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fierii for a fine match.
