Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iosif Ciorănescu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, VUCOVA.CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Bucur to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Nichifor Decuseară had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelian Ganea. Cioruselul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nichifor Decuseară was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Călin Bucur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Paraschiv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Nichifor Decuseară kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelian Ganea. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Ionică Burtea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Bucurescu in the 26th minute of play. A hard shot by Călin Bucur from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Aurelian Ganea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ferdinand Zgrăbunţa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Nichifor Decuseară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Ganea having to interfere. Călin Bucur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nichifor Decuseară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Ganea having to interfere. Aurelian Ganea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Călin Bucur. When Albert Bucurescu came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Cioruselul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Bucurescu couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Nichifor Decuseară made the kick off in the second half. When Marian Dabija fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VUCOVA.CITY's protests and gave Marian Dabija a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute Cioruselul were awarded a corner. Ferdinand Zgrăbunţa went to the cornerflag to take it. Gică Stan's late challenge caught a Cioruselul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gică Stan helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of VUCOVA.CITY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cioruselul:s goal. If Nichifor Decuseară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Decuseară in the 64th minute of play forced Cioruselul's goalkeeper Aurelian Ganea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute of the match VUCOVA.CITY got a corner. Cioruselul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Costin Ghelmegean ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led VUCOVA.CITY's Costin Ghelmegean to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelian Ganea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Călin Bucur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VUCOVA.CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Bucur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Cioruselul booed when VUCOVA.CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Bucur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cioruselul defense, Filip Paraschiv kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelian Ganea. The Cioruselul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelian Ganea should have stopped the shot. Nichifor Decuseară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Ganea having to interfere. If Nichifor Decuseară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nichifor Decuseară sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Filip Paraschiv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VUCOVA.CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Paraschiv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iosif Ciorănescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionică Burtea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. VUCOVA.CITY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cioruselul for a fine match.
