Ghirdoveni UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Minda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Minda in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornel Bitanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Costin Vochin notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ghirdoveni UFC's Cornel Bitanu. Cornel Bitanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Petruț Matei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornel Bitanu having to make a save. Alexandru Urmaticu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Văcăroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Ghirdoveni UFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Postelnicescu. The wind increased when Romeo Minda made the kick off in the second half. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cornel Bitanu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Minda in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornel Bitanu saved Ghirdoveni UFC from getting behind. A collision led to FC Efervescent getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Costin Vochin hit a great ball. If Sorin Stârcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornel Bitanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petruț Matei's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Vochin in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornel Bitanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Minda struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Cornel Bitanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Efervescent. Petruț Matei succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-8 in the 97th playminute. FC Efervescent played a much better game than Ghirdoveni UFC and deserved their victory. The Ghirdoveni UFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
