Spectators: 7355 (Terracing: 5517, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 147) Cezar Grindeanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Uglena FC's zone, Eusebiu Jupân stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Predoiu came out of the goal and Eusebiu Jupân tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Eusebiu Jupân got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Uglena FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Petre Movileanu hit a great ball. Eugen Predoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Grindeanu in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eusebiu Jupân put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eugen Predoiu. Eugen Predoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Grindeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Eugen Predoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Jupân in the 28th minute of play. Cezar Grindeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Grindeanu in the 36th minute of play forced Uglena FC's goalkeeper Eugen Predoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Cezar Grindeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Predoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Predoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Jupân in the 42nd minute of play. Eugen Predoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Stănilă in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petre Movileanu was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Eliodor Huțanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uglena FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botele the free kick. Cezar Grindeanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugen Predoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezar Grindeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Botele's Cezar Grindeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Botele's Cezar Grindeanu in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uglena FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 62nd minute, Ferdinand Stănilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugen Predoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 69th minute Cezar Grindeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Predoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Botele's Cezar Grindeanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Uglena FC's Eugen Predoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Uglena FC from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Stănilă hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uglena FC! Botele's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
