Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silviu Teodoroiu kicked off to start the match. Vârful Moldoveanu's Lucian Sava got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silviu Teodoroiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Bacalu having to make a save. Vârful Moldoveanu's Silviu Teodoroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Bacalu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Teodoroiu in the 13th minute of the match. George Bacalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Teodoroiu in the 14th minute of play. Eusebiu Jupân's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Simon Klint firmly grabbed it by the left post. George Bacalu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silviu Teodoroiu went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cezar Grindeanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Klint having to make a save. In the 23rd match minute, Vârful Moldoveanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Huțupan to maneuver through the defense. Silviu Teodoroiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Bacalu having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Lucian Sava cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. George Bacalu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusebiu Jupân fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Klint having to interfere. Cezar Grindeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Simon Klint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cezar Grindeanu made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Jupân had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Klint. Vârful Moldoveanu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Jupân was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a little luck, Botele's George Bacalu got control of the ball when Lucian Sava tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vârful Moldoveanu's Mário Henriques got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Vârful Moldoveanu's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Jupân came free, but Simon Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucian Sava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Bacalu having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Vârful Moldoveanu got a freekick which was hit by Alin Iriza. Simon Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Grindeanu in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Silviu Teodoroiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Haritz during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, one of Vârful Moldoveanu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vârful Moldoveanu. Cezar Grindeanu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Simon Klint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezar Grindeanu's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lucian Sava managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vârful Moldoveanu's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucian Sava was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Bacalu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Vârful Moldoveanu got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Haritz. In the 96th minute, Vârful Moldoveanu's Lucian Sava dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3.
