With a left leg Emilian Mustăcilă saved Posolaca from getting behind. Posolaca's Emilian Mustăcilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Alupoaie in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Bărcăuan in the 17th minute of play forced Posolaca's goalkeeper Emilian Mustăcilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilian Mustăcilă didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Iohanisfeld's Nistor Greblă shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Nistor Greblă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emilian Mustăcilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Nistor Greblă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilian Mustăcilă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Laurențiu Bobariu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute David Boc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Brezoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Brezoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Bobariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Iohanisfeld's zone, David Boc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Brezoi came out of the goal and David Boc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Vlad Mirciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Posolaca getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. David Boc hit a great ball. Anton Brezoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Bobariu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Vlad Mirciu fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Posolaca's protests and gave Vlad Mirciu a yellow card for diving instead. Vlad Mirciu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Nistor Greblă took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Emilian Mustăcilă to make any attempt to save it. Ivan Hârtopanu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Hârtopanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Posolaca got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Hârtopanu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Greblă got free with Emilian Mustăcilă in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Posolaca booed when Iohanisfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Geolgău didn't get a good kick on the ball.
