After 12 minutes of play, FC Psycho Piatra Neamt's Albert Măliță made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doru Cazan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petre Drâmbă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Doru Cazan came out of the goal and Albert Măliță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Frumușanu in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doru Cazan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Albert Măliță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doru Cazan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gornenti's goalkeeper Doru Cazan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Valentin Frumușanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doru Cazan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Psycho Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Mihnea Isaicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Viorel Cezariu notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Psycho Piatra Neamt's Mihnea Isaicu.
