Șerban Nedelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Şoimaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mihail Zdroană charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Zdroană the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Mihail Zdroană hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arrigo Ferretti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Istrăteanu having to interfere. If Daniel Itu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Corbeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Șerban Nedelea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Arrigo Ferretti struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gavril Istrăteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FICATII FC. In the 40th minute, FICATII FC's Arrigo Ferretti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavril Istrăteanu. Gavril Istrăteanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Șerban Nedelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Şoimaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arrigo Ferretti to make the kick off. A collision led to Rosculesti getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Iustinian Şoimaru hit a great ball. Arrigo Ferretti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Istrăteanu having to interfere. Sandu Unciuleanu's late challenge caught a FICATII FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandu Unciuleanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Rosculesti got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Unciuleanu. If Arrigo Ferretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FICATII FC's Huang Nan Feng got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Iustinian Şoimaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FICATII FC's Șerban Nedelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilian Acatincăi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Șerban Nedelea made a huge save. FICATII FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
