Lyones's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Ovidiu Păvăloae scored to the left of an out of position Mugurel Murgescu, making the score, 2-1. 20 minutes into the match, Lyones's goalkeeper Mugurel Murgescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Cotoi. The supporters of FC.Dierna booed when Lyones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Giurcă didn't get a good kick on the ball.
