Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narcis Liviu took the kick off in the first half of the match. A L X's Cosmin Calomfirescu landed with the leg in an unnatural angle after a tough challenge. The leg was fractured. Aron Barbonța hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Murgan during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, A L X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Murgan to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes, Fulpe's Irinel Voiculescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olimpiu Amărculesei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fulpe reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Liviu in the 12th minute of play forced Fulpe's goalkeeper Calistrat Bădescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When A L X's Marius Calota in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fulpe's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Fulpe booed when A L X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Gugea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Piţurcă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olimpiu Amărculesei. Eusebiu Piţurcă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, one of A L X:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Irinel Voiculescu fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fulpe's protests and gave Irinel Voiculescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fulpe's Irinel Voiculescu got a free kick in the 25th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Octav Zglimbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulpe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Zglimbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebiu Piţurcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Amărculesei having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irinel Voiculescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fulpe's zone, Marius Calota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Bădescu came out of the goal and Marius Calota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulpe's Eusebiu Piţurcă got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ionică Capisizu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Amărculesei having to interfere. Irinel Voiculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Olimpiu Amărculesei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Neața got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcu Andronache. 78 minutes into the match, A L X's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Piţurcă came free, but Olimpiu Amărculesei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Voiculescu struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Olimpiu Amărculesei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulpe. Eusebiu Piţurcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Amărculesei having to interfere. Irinel Voiculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Olimpiu Amărculesei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fulpe were the better team. Fulpe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
