The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihăiţă Ieremia got free with Calistrat Bădescu in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calistrat Bădescu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 14th minute, Mihăiţă Ieremia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C TG-MURES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Calistrat Bădescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Ieremia in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th play minute Gaspar Martins came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Calistrat Bădescu. 3-0. Hartmut Tuna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Bădescu having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Romeo Stăniloaie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Calistrat Bădescu. The goal made the score 4-0. Fulpe's Calistrat Bădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Ieremia in the 28th minute of play. 5-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Mihăiţă Ieremia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Fulpe's goal looked a bit too open when Hartmut Tuna came free, but Calistrat Bădescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Fulpe's Calistrat Bădescu got control of the ball when Mihăiţă Ieremia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Fulpe's goalkeeper Calistrat Bădescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihăiţă Ieremia. 38 minutes into the match, Fulpe's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Stăniloaie came free, but Calistrat Bădescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Păstrăv hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Ionică Capisizu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irinel Voiculescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, F.C TG-MURES's Mihăiţă Ieremia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calistrat Bădescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Mihăiţă Ieremia sped through Fulpe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calistrat Bădescu. Fulpe's Calistrat Bădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Ieremia in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Gaspar Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C TG-MURES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fulpe the free kick. After 61 played minutes F.C TG-MURES got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Martins. Calistrat Bădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartmut Tuna, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Calistrat Bădescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Stăniloaie in the 66th minute of play. Mihăiţă Ieremia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Calistrat Bădescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calistrat Bădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Stăniloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Calistrat Bădescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Ieremia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Stăniloaie in the 88th minute of play forced Fulpe's goalkeeper Calistrat Bădescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Bădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gaspar Martins took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calistrat Bădescu. Calistrat Bădescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 95th minute, Hartmut Tuna made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Bădescu. Fulpe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. F.C TG-MURES's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
