Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) LUCO TKS's Ronaldinho Neiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Grant Hobbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Galușcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Gora got free with Dave Finocchio in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, GLADIATORII's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Neiva came free, but Grant Hobbs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandru Vasilache charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandru Vasilache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GLADIATORII getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alexandru Vasilache hit a great ball. Grant Hobbs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Neiva in the 20th minute of play. Alexandru Vasilache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dave Finocchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grant Hobbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zanko Gerovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Aguirre in the 28th minute of play forced LUCO TKS's goalkeeper Dave Finocchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Hobbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Hobbs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Neiva's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Dave Finocchio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Gora in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Primitivo Gora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dave Finocchio. Primitivo Gora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 41st minute, LUCO TKS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eric Răuțu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Primitivo Gora had several of the LUCO TKS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Dave Finocchio as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Gora to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to LUCO TKS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Arjen Pothuizen hit a great ball. Eusebiu Galușcă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Grant Hobbs made a huge save. In the 62nd minute of the match, Eusebiu Galușcă got a very nice opportunity to score, but Grant Hobbs was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 63 minutes, Nicolae Hudiță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LUCO TKS and the GLADIATORII players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, LUCO TKS's Nicolae Hudiță got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Eric Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute of the match, Ronaldinho Neiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grant Hobbs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Grant Hobbs made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Eusebiu Galușcă sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Osvaldo Aguirre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Finocchio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Dave Finocchio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Vasilache, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. LUCO TKS's Dave Finocchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Vasilache in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, LUCO TKS's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Răuțu came free, but Dave Finocchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Hobbs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Neiva in the 80th minute of the match. Grant Hobbs made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Eusebiu Galușcă sent off a good shot on target. After 81 played minutes GLADIATORII got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Gora. Tudor Corbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Grant Hobbs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grant Hobbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zanko Gerovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Zanko Gerovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Grant Hobbs made a huge save. In the 91st minute Eric Răuțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Finocchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GLADIATORII's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ronaldinho Neiva 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. GLADIATORII's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
