In the 6th minute Juventus Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner. Lucrețiu Reznic went to the cornerflag to take it. Juventus Cluj-Napoca's Octavian Basarabescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Dobrin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lucrețiu Reznic hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Sandu Boșneag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Vasiliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Budaesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Vasiliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandu Boșneag breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petruț Vidican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Vasiliu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mihnea Drăghincescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Vasiliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandu Boșneag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Juventus Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Rioşanu to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes, Mihnea Drăghincescu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Juventus Cluj-Napoca's Sandu Boșneag tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Budaesti's Petrică Horia got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luca Vasiliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sandu Boșneag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Juventus Cluj-Napoca's Alex Rioşanu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Mihnea Drăghincescu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sandu Boșneag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Budaesti. Lucrețiu Reznic missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 94 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the George Dobrin right hand side. Budaesti were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Juventus Cluj-Napoca for a fine match.
