Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tudor Rioşanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Boldișor in the 6th minute of play forced Odobesti FCM's goalkeeper Dinu Chițu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorel Bărbat hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Dinu Chițu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudor Rioşanu went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, FC KGT's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Potoroacă came free, but Florin Vâtcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC KGT's zone, Flavius Encescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Vâtcă came out of the goal and Flavius Encescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petre Potoroacă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Boldișor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Chițu having to interfere. Alin Ivăncioiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dinu Chițu having to make a save. Dinu Chițu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Rioşanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petre Potoroacă in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Vâtcă saved FC KGT from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Encescu in the 33rd minute of play forced FC KGT's goalkeeper Florin Vâtcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florin Vâtcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Potoroacă, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Flavius Encescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florin Vâtcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Potoroacă, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half FC KGT were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Petre Potoroacă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Vâtcă was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Odobesti FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC KGT the free kick. Florin Vâtcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Potoroacă in the 73rd minute of play. If Dan Boldișor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavius Encescu in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Vâtcă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84thth minute of the game Petre Potoroacă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC KGT's Florin Vâtcă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC KGT's Florin Vâtcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Bărbat in the 86th minute of play. Petre Potoroacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Vâtcă having to interfere. FC KGT were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Odobesti FCM's much stronger midfield.
