Spectators: 7424 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 50) Tarcuta CSS's Gabriel Mavrodin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 played minutes Tarcuta CSS got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Stancu. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Dragoş Pârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasilati FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Dragoş Pârlea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Gherasescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Julian Drzewucki came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Vasilati FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Drzewucki couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Lalescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Tarcuta CSS booed when Vasilati FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Turlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Inácio do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vasilati FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasilati FCM's Julian Drzewucki got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Pombal came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarcuta CSS's Gabriel Mavrodin. But to his dismay, Gabriel Mavrodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Lalescu in the 48th minute of play forced Vasilati FCM's goalkeeper Alexandre Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Inácio do Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Gherasescu was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Vasilati FCM's Inácio do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Vasilati FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Uncuţă to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Inácio do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Gherasescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Gherasescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Drzewucki in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Vasilati FCM's Inácio do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moise Gherasescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vasilati FCM fully deserved thier win.
