Alexandre Pombal made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Dan Boldișor sent off a good shot on target. Manole Petriceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Vâtcă having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Julian Drzewucki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Vâtcă. FC KGT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Drzewucki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alexandre Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Rioşanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Alexandre Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Rioşanu in the 24th minute of play. If Inácio do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Drzewucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Florin Vâtcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Inácio do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasilati FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Vâtcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Vasilati FCM's Alexandre Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Rioşanu in the 51st minute of play. Alexandre Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Rioşanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, FC KGT's goalkeeper Florin Vâtcă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Drzewucki. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Drzewucki got free with Florin Vâtcă in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tudor Rioşanu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alexandre Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC KGT. Nechifor Vaştag took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandre Pombal. Vasilati FCM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC KGT's Lucrețiu Drăucean got a free kick in the 66th minute. Inácio do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Rioşanu in the 75th minute of play forced Vasilati FCM's goalkeeper Alexandre Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Apăvăloaie during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 95 in the game by Julian Drzewucki from a close distance when the talented Florin Vâtcă managed to make a qualified save. FC KGT's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Vasilati FCM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC KGT.
