Spectators: 7394 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) Dragoş Şchiopu made the kick off and thus started the match. Djalma Medeiros came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Chisarai's Dragoş Şchiopu. But to his dismay, Dragoş Şchiopu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Dragoş Şchiopu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djalma Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Gagiu's late challenge caught a Fc Stiinta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mugurel Gagiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Chisarai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Gagiu to maneuver through the defense. Alin Racoviță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute of the match, Robert Alamaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moise Teodorescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Dragoş Şchiopu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Şchiopu in the 34th minute of play forced Fc Stiinta's goalkeeper Djalma Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Codruț kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Costin Gorun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chisarai's goalkeeper Moise Teodorescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sümer Bakırcı, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Moise Teodorescu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Alin Racoviță sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Chisarai were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Alamaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Alamaru in the 55th minute of play forced Chisarai's goalkeeper Moise Teodorescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Robert Alamaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Moise Teodorescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dragoş Şchiopu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Djalma Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Fc Stiinta's Djalma Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Şchiopu in the 70th minute of play. Nistor Codruț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Moise Teodorescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dragoş Şchiopu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute, Pavel Mohora made a precise shot to the right of Djalma Medeiros. Fc Stiinta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Chisarai booed when Fc Stiinta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Miclauș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chisarai's Costin Gorun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Stiinta. Dragoş Şchiopu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pavel Mohora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fc Stiinta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chisarai's performance. The match ended with a win for Chisarai.
