Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basarab Sbârcea took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gigi Ştefănică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Isăcescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Mesteci's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucrețiu Chificeac in the 4th minute. Marcu Marian hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Gigi Ştefănică got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Leonard Isăcescu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to CSM FAGARAS getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mihăiţă Nicolau hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CSM FAGARAS's zone, Gigi Ştefănică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Isăcescu came out of the goal and Gigi Ştefănică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Gigi Ştefănică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Isăcescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigi Ştefănică could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Leonard Isăcescu made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Nicolau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSM FAGARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mesteci the free kick. In the 18th minute, Mihăiţă Nicolau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Basarab Sbârcea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Iustinian Arsenescu fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mesteci's protests and gave Iustinian Arsenescu a yellow card for diving instead. Leonard Isăcescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigi Ştefănică in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Basarab Sbârcea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silviu Comăneci was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 29 minutes, Pavel Marica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mesteci and the CSM FAGARAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38thth minute of the game Basarab Sbârcea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mesteci's Silviu Comăneci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When CSM FAGARAS's Basarab Sbârcea in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mesteci's goalie prevented a goal. In the 48th minute, Iustinian Arsenescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonard Isăcescu. The goal made the score 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Leonard Isăcescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Arsenescu in the 56th minute of the match. CSM FAGARAS's Leonard Isăcescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Arsenescu in the 58th minute of play. The corner led Mesteci's Lucrețiu Chificeac to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonard Isăcescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 66 played minutes CSM FAGARAS got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Chirculescu. With his leg Silviu Comăneci managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when CSM FAGARAS's Basarab Sbârcea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Mesteci's Marcu Marian got a free kick in the 78th minute. Marcu Marian hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Basarab Sbârcea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silviu Comăneci, 1-2. Basarab Sbârcea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Silviu Comăneci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Sbârcea in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Comăneci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iustinian Arsenescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leonard Isăcescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gheorghe Chirculescu's late challenge caught a Mesteci's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Chirculescu helped the player get up and apologised. Leonard Isăcescu had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Lucrețiu Chificeac's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the match was over CSM FAGARAS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mesteci throughout the match.
