Aristide Mustea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Mugur Banica made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Pavel Dragu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Banica was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Aristide Mustea came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ripensia Timișoara 1928 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Mustea couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Pavel Dragu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Dragu made a kick off. Nicu Nisporeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Lupașcu in the 51st minute of the match. But to his dismay, Aristide Mustea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 78 minutes of play FC DeepHouse's Sever Lupașcu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 79th minute, Sever Lupașcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Mustea in the 80th minute of play forced FC DeepHouse's goalkeeper Mugur Banica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes, Cazimir Mocanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DeepHouse and the Ripensia Timișoara 1928 players grew even worse after the yellow card.
