Spectators: 7340 (Terracing: 5507, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cezar Dragomiroiu started the match with the kick off. Calistrat Brumaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Liviu Moldovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sacaseni's Cezar Dragomiroiu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pihna. Cezar Dragomiroiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hilario Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneliu Brășneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Pihna's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Dragomiroiu came free, but Hilario Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Brumaru hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Hilario Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Dragomiroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pihna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maxim Grecescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacaseni's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Gigi Urseanu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Calistrat Brumaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxim Grecescu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Emil Diculescus short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Hilario Eskuin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th minute Cezar Dragomiroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Sacaseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Târcă to maneuver through the defense. Liviu Moldovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Brumaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Eskuin was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Maxim Grecescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maxim Grecescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 70th minute, Cezar Dragomiroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Sacaseni got a freekick which was hit by Breno Pombal. In the 89th minute Maxim Grecescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pihna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sacaseni's performance. The match ended with a win for Sacaseni.
