Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiberiu Minulescu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nechifor Bunescu in the 6th minute of play forced Segarcea CF's goalkeeper Matthieu Baekelandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Ionuț Achifoaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that George Spiridon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Șerban Drogoreanu was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tiberiu Minulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haimanalele's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiberiu Minulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Cunea made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nichifor Saşca however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Minulescu in the 38th minute of play forced Segarcea CF's goalkeeper Matthieu Baekelandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Tiberiu Minulescu made a precise shot to the right of Matthieu Baekelandt. Segarcea CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 45th minute Tiberiu Minulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthieu Baekelandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Spiridon to make the kick off. The supporters of Haimanalele booed when Segarcea CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Spiridon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Tiberiu Minulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matthieu Baekelandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Minulescu in the 65th minute of the match. Sandu Bărboianu made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nechifor Bunescu. After 73 minutes, Gavril Mănescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haimanalele and the Segarcea CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Gavril Mănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Spiridon took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Drogoreanu. Șerban Drogoreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some careless play in the Haimanalele defense, George Spiridon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Șerban Drogoreanu. The Haimanalele fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Șerban Drogoreanu should have stopped the shot. Nechifor Bunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Haimanalele booed when Segarcea CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Mestecăneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Tiberiu Minulescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Matthieu Baekelandt, passed just outside the right post. The nice shot from Tiberiu Minulescu in the 91stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Matthieu Baekelandt had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Segarcea CF's Nechifor Cunea got a free kick in the 94th minute. Segarcea CF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
