An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Ghioane in the 87th minute of play forced Segarcea CF's goalkeeper Matthieu Baekelandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Segarcea CF's zone, Tudor Giurăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthieu Baekelandt came out of the goal and Tudor Giurăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthieu Baekelandt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmitt Hills went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Somlyopataka FC had played much better football throughout.
