Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Eric Goga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cermei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Goga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Codruț Chimeț during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Cermei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Chimeț to maneuver through the defense. Cermei's Radu Tirulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Cermei from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Codruț Chimeț made a precise shot to the right of Martin Mihuț. Fagetelu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costel Bîlbă during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Costel Bîlbă kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Constantin Săvoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mugurel Guriță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Cermei's Codruț Chimeț in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fagetelu's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the game, one of Fagetelu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Codruț Chimeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Martin Mihuț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Goga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niculae Tăcutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cazimir Papadima was the one to do the kick off. Martin Mihuț didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Codruț Chimeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Martin Mihuț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Mihuț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Goga in the 62nd minute of play. Ciprian Mirciu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Cermei getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lucian Aplugăriței hit a great ball. Radu Tirulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Mirciu in the 66th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Cermei's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Mirciu came free, but Radu Tirulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Tirulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Papadima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Mihuț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Chimeț went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Codruț Chimeț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Martin Mihuț made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Codruț Chimeț reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Mihuț. The goal made the score 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Eric Goga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Mihuț. That made the score 0-6 in the 90 minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Cermei's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Gorunescu came free, but Radu Tirulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cermei had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
