The wind increased when Matei Amuguroancei made the kick off in the second half. Viorel Cartiș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marin Jurca was a little too slow when Matei Amuguroancei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Eric Golumbean fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rapid's protests and gave Eric Golumbean a yellow card for diving instead. Eric Golumbean hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gică Uncheşu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Valentin Ignătoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
