Tirgusor's Ion Murgoci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Uncheşu in the 9th minute of play. Răzvan Albeanu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Octavian Ciocâlteu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Jurca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cauaceu AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Viorel Cartiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavian Ciocâlteu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Nicolae Ababei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cauaceu AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavian Ciocâlteu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Tirulescu during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marin Jurca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Ciocâlteu in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Octavian Ciocâlteu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marin Jurca was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
