Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcu Bărbulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Bousoru's Sabin Asachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Stegaru in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of FCM Alexandria booed when Bousoru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Ţugui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabin Asachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Ersman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dumitru Tărâţă was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Bousoru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Helmuth Khan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Albuț, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Nae Bădiță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCM Alexandria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th minute, Ren Chao Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Remus Stegaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Asachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Asachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Stegaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FCM Alexandria's goalkeeper Helmuth Khan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sabin Asachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Stegaru in the 26th minute of the match. Ferdinand Burnei hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Ren Chao Cheng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCM Alexandria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Stegaru in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabin Asachi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FCM Alexandria getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Remus Stegaru hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Bousoru got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Hârțan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Balint in the 46th minute of play forced Bousoru's goalkeeper Sabin Asachi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Marin Ţipirig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Helmuth Khan. The goal made the score 1-3. After the first half FCM Alexandria were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of FCM Alexandria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bousoru:s goal. 58 minutes into the match, FCM Alexandria's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Albuț came free, but Helmuth Khan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabin Asachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Stegaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to FCM Alexandria getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nae Bădiță hit a great ball. In the 68th minute of the game, Ren Chao Cheng landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. During the 68th minute of the match Marcu Bărbulescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcu Bărbulescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Marcu Bărbulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Sever Albuț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bousoru's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Albuț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmuth Khan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sever Albuț took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmuth Khan. Helmuth Khan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Albuț in the 90th minute of play forced FCM Alexandria's goalkeeper Helmuth Khan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabin Asachi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Stegaru in the 93rd minute. Sabin Asachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Ersman in the 96th minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, FCM Alexandria's Remus Stegaru made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabin Asachi was left in no man's land by his defense there! FCM Alexandria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
