Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valentin Ştefoi made the kick off and thus started the match. If Horia Barbă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golanii's goalkeeper Calistrat Babeș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Golanii defense, Valentin Ştefoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Babeș. The Golanii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Babeș should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Florin Calota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calistrat Babeș was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Harbuz in the 10th minute of play forced Golanii's goalkeeper Calistrat Babeș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Babeș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Ştefoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dumitru Pușcașu sped through Golanii's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calistrat Babeș. Calistrat Babeș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Calota in the 16th minute of play. If Ovidiu Harbuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Babeș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Harbuz's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Florin Calota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Valentin Ştefoi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Golanii's Calistrat Babeș. Calistrat Babeș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Calistrat Babeș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Calota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 26 minutes, Ovidiu Harbuz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CFR Pascani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Harbuz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisc Dănănae charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisc Dănănae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Golanii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Dănănae to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Valentin Ştefoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 minutes, Nicolae Vornicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golanii and the CFR Pascani players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Golanii getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nicolae Vornicu hit a great ball. Manole Șipoș struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Calistrat Babeș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CFR Pascani. In the 36th minute, Dumitru Pușcașu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calistrat Babeș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ştefoi in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, CFR Pascani's Florin Calota made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Babeș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dumitru Pușcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dumitru Pușcașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Pușcașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Calistrat Babeș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half CFR Pascani were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolae Vornicu made a kick off. Florin Calota was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 57th match minute, Golanii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Goiciu to maneuver through the defense. CFR Pascani were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Golanii's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manole Șipoș took the corner. After a rather tough play, CFR Pascani's Valentin Ştefoi got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Remus Pătru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Pușcașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Calistrat Babeș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Golanii's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Valentin Ştefoi 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. With a little luck, Golanii's Calistrat Babeș got control of the ball when Dumitru Pușcașu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calistrat Babeș made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Florin Calota sent off a good shot on target. Florin Calota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Calistrat Babeș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Valentin Ştefoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Babeș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as CFR Pascani's Valentin Ştefoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calistrat Babeș. That made the score 0-7 after 84 minutes of play. 87 minutes into the match, CFR Pascani's Valentin Ştefoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Babeș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calistrat Babeș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Harbuz's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Florin Calota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florin Calota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golanii's Calistrat Babeș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Golanii from getting a goal against them. 98 minutes into the match, Valentin Ştefoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Calistrat Babeș, 0-8. CFR Pascani played a much better game than Golanii and deserved their victory. The Golanii players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
