Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CFR Pascani's Valentin Ştefoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Doru Bădoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute of the match Gică Pascu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iurie Raţiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Grigore Paulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CFR Pascani booed when Carpeniste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Pascu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpeniste FC's Cornel Lupoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Harbuz in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Carpeniste FC's Cornel Lupoi got control of the ball when Dumitru Pușcașu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Dumitru Pușcașu made a precise shot to the right of Cornel Lupoi. Carpeniste FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With his leg Cornel Lupoi managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when CFR Pascani's Dumitru Pușcașu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cornel Lupoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ştefoi in the 35th minute of play. Iurie Raţiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Bădoi in the 37th minute of play. Cornel Lupoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Harbuz's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Ivan Ţintea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpeniste FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CFR Pascani the free kick. The supporters of CFR Pascani booed when Carpeniste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Ţintea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Ştefoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornel Lupoi having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doru Bădoi made a kick off. In the 57th minute Florin Calota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Lupoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Doru Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Carpeniste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Nedelciu to maneuver through the defense. Florin Calota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Lupoi having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Valentin Ştefoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpeniste FC's Cornel Lupoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gică Pascu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gică Pascu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carpeniste FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gică Pascu hit a great ball. The supporters of Carpeniste FC booed when CFR Pascani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Roșeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gică Pascu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpeniste FC's goalkeeper Cornel Lupoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iurie Raţiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Bădoi in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ovidiu Harbuz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpeniste FC's Cornel Lupoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CFR Pascani's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
