When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Codrin Valerian put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Negrițoiu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Valerian in the 94th minute of play forced Rotaria's goalkeeper Denis Negrițoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Negrițoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Zburliş in the 97th minute of play. Real Madrid's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
