Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ioan Geangu kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Martin Latarețu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rotaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Latarețu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toader Brătescu got free with Niculae Gheorghe in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rotaria's Martin Latarețu in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zilistea FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Martin Latarețu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rotaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Latarețu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Gheorghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Rotaria's Alexandru Zdrăilă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niculae Gheorghe. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Latarețu in the 24th minute of play forced Zilistea FC's goalkeeper Niculae Gheorghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Toader Brătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Zilistea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Geangu to maneuver through the defense. After 38th play minutes Martin Latarețu shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Niculae Gheorghe and just under the crossbar into goal. Martin Latarețu might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Gheorghe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Latarețu ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Latarețu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Gheorghe having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Latarețu to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Toader Brătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rotaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toader Brătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zilistea FC's Niculae Gheorghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Brătescu in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Martin Latarețu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rotaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 68th minute, Martin Latarețu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Gheorghe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zilistea FC's goalkeeper Niculae Gheorghe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Lucian Giugiuc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Denis Negrițoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Rotaria's Denis Negrițoiu got control of the ball when Lucian Giugiuc tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Martin Latarețu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Martin Latarețu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zilistea FC's Niculae Gheorghe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Martin Latarețu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rotaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Latarețu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rotaria had played much better football throughout.
