After a defensive mix-up in Mircea SC's zone, Ivan Țâpu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Povară came out of the goal and Ivan Țâpu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Matei Marin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mircea SC's Francisc Povară was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ivan Țâpu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes, Iulian Enciu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mircea SC and the FC BarCelOnA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC BarCelOnA's Irinel Comănescu got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilie Iancu got free with Felix Tâlvescu in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niculae Vârșan's late challenge caught a FC BarCelOnA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niculae Vârșan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mircea SC's Niculae Vârșan got a free kick in the 17th minute. With an all-out effort, Mircea SC's Felix Tâlvescu threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodor Mihele, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francisc Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Țâpu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrado Barbato's late challenge caught a Mircea SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corrado Barbato helped the player get up and apologised. Corrado Barbato kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes FC BarCelOnA got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Barbato. Ilie Iancu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Felix Tâlvescu made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Ivan Țâpu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisc Povară was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mircea SC's Francisc Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Țâpu in the 40th minute of play. FC BarCelOnA's Corrado Barbato got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC BarCelOnA's Felix Tâlvescu got control of the ball when Ilie Iancu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC BarCelOnA's Felix Tâlvescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC BarCelOnA from getting a goal against them. After 47 minutes of play, FC BarCelOnA's Corrado Barbato made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisc Povară was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodor Mihele was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Țâpu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan Țâpu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Francisc Povară made a huge save. Ivan Țâpu might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisc Povară. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Țâpu ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Ilie Iancu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Felix Tâlvescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisc Povară came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FC BarCelOnA's Ivan Țâpu. But to his dismay, Ivan Țâpu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Mircea SC's Niculae Vârșan got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Niculae Vârșan off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Mircea SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Vârșan to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Țâpu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisc Povară having to make a save. FC BarCelOnA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
