Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ionel Ţeica kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, FC Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Gheondea to maneuver through the defense. Vlad Enescu took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Vulpăşin. Codrin Vulpăşin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, KORISPATAK FC's Emanuel Purcărete broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Nicu Todoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codrin Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Runcu in the 17th minute of play. Codrin Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Enescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Ţeica in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Rizea saved FC Galati from getting behind. Flavius Oprița recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ionel Ţeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Jdeica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Nicu Rizea made a huge save. If Ionel Ţeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ionel Ţeica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Rizea having to interfere. Emanuel Purcărete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nicu Rizea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ionel Ţeica came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the KORISPATAK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Ţeica couldn't finish the play. Nicu Rizea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viorel Jdeica showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Vintilă Caranfil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ionel Ţeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorel Runcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicu Rizea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Ţeica, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. FC Galati's Nicu Rizea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Purcărete in the 61st minute of play. Ionel Ţeica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Purcărete struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Nicu Rizea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KORISPATAK FC. 67 minutes into the game, Vintilă Caranfil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Codrin Vulpăşin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Viorel Jdeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Ionel Ţeica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Galati's Nicu Rizea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Viorel Jdeica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionel Ţeica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionel Ţeica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Rizea having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, FC Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Purcărete came free, but Nicu Rizea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes in the game Ivan Gheondea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nicu Todoran. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Viorel Jdeica managed to get in a good position for a shot. KORISPATAK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Jdeica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Rizea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Gheondea made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dorel Runcu. Nicu Rizea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Ţeica in the 96th minute of the match. FC Galati succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though KORISPATAK FC had controlled the match.
