Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Costică Ştefulescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. George Ologu made a great header on Barbulesti SC's corner, it was just that Sitoaia AC's Costică Ştefulescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Barbulesti SC's Eusebiu Avădanei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Mihăileanu in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sitoaia AC's zone, Horea Stroia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costică Ştefulescu came out of the goal and Horea Stroia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionuț Şunda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Costică Ştefulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Şunda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Costică Ştefulescu made a huge save. In the 88th minute of the match, Ionuț Şunda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Costică Ştefulescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 89 minutes into the match, Sitoaia AC's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Stroia came free, but Costică Ştefulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Mugur Ciolpan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sitoaia AC and the Barbulesti SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Mugur Ciolpan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97thth minute of the game Horea Stroia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sitoaia AC's Costică Ştefulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Barbulesti SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
