Irinel Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Agachi having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugurel Bratiloveanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Mădălin Agachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Şumălan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute.
